What to do to make the black eye susan in my back yard bloom again?
Q. The black eye susan bloomed very well in the past few years. This year they are not growing right. The plants are small yet spread everywhere in the yard, and I only see a few buds. What's wrong with these plants? What can I do to revive them?
Asked by Joy - Thu Jul 17 22:15:11 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The problem with the same plant growing in the same area causes the soil to loose its nutrients over time. fertilizing with the proper mixture (usually a fert. for flowering plants is best) and time frame -about 2/mnth-will be satisfactory. otherwise try planting other varieties to promote the soil quality. p.s. compost is excellent for long term nutrient release into the soil.

What is the best way to use a lazy susan in a cupboard?
Q. I have a problem with my kitchen. I can't quite seem to know how to organize the lazy susan cupboard in my kitchen. I have canned food, spaghetti, box food and everything seems to fall behind, or get stuck in which i need to get down and fix it often. Does anyone have any ideas what will be good to store in this type of cupboard?
Asked by goodheart - Sat Nov 7 09:48:19 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Lazy Susan's in cupboards are not made for heavy objects. Most people use them for storing spices. If you do store heavy items, put them on the bottom shelf.

what happens to Susan in the last battle and does Caspian return to?
Q. I have heard that Susan does not return to Narnia in the last battle. Does she return after she heard about Lucy,Edmund and Peter about the fact they died in a railway accident? I have not read the book yet. I like spoilers. So does Susan return to Narnia after she hear the news about Lucy,Edmund and,Peter fate? Does Caspian return to?
Asked by whitney p - Wed Aug 20 21:42:19 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Spoiler spoiler we never find out what happens to Susan. She is "no longer a friend of Narnia," at the time of the story, but she presumably has a lifetime to change her mind. Since her sister, brothers, mother, and father were all killed in the accident, it's likely that her life will not continue on the same path, anyway. That's a pretty big jolt.

What is a Lazy Susan called if it's for a chair?
Q. Know what a Lazy Susan is? It's that rotating tray placed on top of a table to aid in moving food on a large table or counter tops. They come in many sizes and shapes, but are usually circular. So if you were to put a heavier-duty one under a chair, say, a rocking chair for instance to give it the ability to turn left and right, what is that called? What is the name of that furniture accessory?

She was many things to many people: suffragist, temperance worker/abolitionist, teacher /adminstrator/educational reformer, labor activist, &, of course, woman's rights campaigner. I'm sure that you read of her arrest for voting in 1872. But, did you know that: " . . . the Rochester District Attorney asked for a change of venue because a jury might be prejudiced in her favor" ? (Read the excellent one-page biography at the below site; there's more interesting info.!) Here are a couple of other examples of Anthony's numerous good works that impacted on her surroundings. Do you think Susan Boyle would compromise herself by just getting a new hairdo and her brows waxed?
Q. I know Susan Boyle said she wants to stay natural but a few small changes like a new hair style and a brow wax wouldn't be a huge change... What do you think?
Asked by MeniMiniMoMama - Sat Apr 18 17:12:21 2009 - - 37 Answers - 1 Comments

A. If you would see Susan Boyle on the show, she was mocked and a girl even rolled her eyes because all the shallow people thought you would have to be glamorous to possess talent. But when she started singing everyone (including you probably) got a wake up call and realized you should never judge a book by it's cover. YOU obviously haven't learnt a thing from that video. YOU should accept people the way they are.

A. The British tabloids are not known for their kindness. They behaved exactly the same way as the people who bullied Susan growing up. Should they be ashamed of themselves absolutely. Susan has a learning disability due to being starved of oxygen at birth. This is also why she is unihibited in her reactions. The pain in her eyes in the final when she sang was evident. How many of us could stand the scrutiny which she did. I am not surprised she collapsed and was taken to the Priory. The big highs and then suddenly it finishes - that is difficult to cope with. Compassion and kindness go a long way in this world, it's a shame so many have lost it.
