Why are my old programs in "program files" when I did a complete reinstall of Windows XP?
Q. I said to do a complete reinstall and it told me everything would be deleted. My documents, videos, pictures and desktop are all clean. However, when I go to Program Files, all of my old programs are still there. I could click on AIM and still bring it up without reinstalling it. Among other programs. Why would a re-install leave my programs like that?

A. I am not familiar with Vista, but locate your C: drive , open it, look for Program Files folder. Open that folder and see if you can locate the Ares folder. Open that to see if there is an uninstall file within it. I am also including a website I found with other information on it as well. Hope that helps.

A. Studying five years after 10th or High school gain us the a graduate degree. After this two more years study give us Post Graduation degree as the name itself suggests. In 10th there are so many subjects. In 12th the stream is decided that is maths, medicine or comm. etc. At graduation level we read three subjects only and at PG we read any specialization branch of a subject.

How to translate Assembly language program to C language program for a timer circuit?

A. If the compiler supports inline assembly, just use that: #asm #endasm Otherwise, the only way is to write a timer program using your knowledge of the 89C52 architecture. (It's a lot easier in assembly than in C, since C has very little to do with the chip.)

How do you remove items from your program list in Windows Vista?
Q. I attempted to uninstall a program on my computer (I use Windows Vista Basic) and there was a problem with the uninstall. The files are no longer on my computer, but for some reason the program continues to appear on my list of programs. Furthermore, I can't re-install the program because the install program thinks that the program is still there. Please help!

How to burn a program from my computer to dvd or cd?

A. DarkBasic. It was one of my first game programming classes (go to school for software engineering/game programming) and it was a very easy to use program. You don't really need to know any programming to get started. They have lots of tutorials and help documentation on their site. My professor actually helped create the software and write the handbook.

A. Most projects in Linux are done in C especially if its related to the OS. Only recently has C++ become part of the OS. iPodLinux creates it own operating system and stores it on the iPod. It would very likely be written in C.

What program will allow me to crop multiple images at once?
Q. I make a lot of auctions on Ebay, Particuarlly for Coins, And i need the frame of the picture i take to fit the coin exactly. But sometimes i will take anywhere upwards of 10 to 20 images, And having to go through each image, One by one, And crop them is a massively time consuming process. A. I use Photoshop Pro and it works just fine for me. I'm not sure if the regular retail photoshop is equally as effective, or if it can even crop the pics all at once.

What program do I need to save my graphics with a transparent background?
Q. I've been playin around with graphics and backgrounds, trying to make my own. The backgrounds are easy enough for me, but the graphics are a whole another issue. I currently am using just my regular paint program that came with my computer. And there seems to be no way to save my graphics with a transparent background. So what program do I need for this? A. Your right, Windows Paint has no way of defining a transparent background color. However you do have to use a file format that supports transparent colors such as either GIF or PNG. Check out the free Paint.net editor. Also look at the "How to make a transparent GIF" link.

How do I move a program from my hard drive to an external hard drive?

I have a couple very expensive programs that I can not afford to lose (I do not have the original cds) so I want to transfer them to my external hard drive so I can do a system restore back to factory settings because nothing else has worked to get my laptop working normally again. Again this is related to the license agreement. You are confusing apples and oranges when you make the comment " I always thought that once you purchase something,it was completely yours and under your control." Is there a program that lets me delete programs without having to completely restore my system?
Q. For some reason, I'm not able to delete some programs on my computer, because it says "This program is being used by another program" or for some other reason. A. There is a lot of third party programs that can uninstall programs from your computer if the add/remove programs in the control panel is not working for you. Try a program called perfect uninstall. I don't think its free but hit me up n I'll send it to you. Other than that, an easier method is to download the same program that wont uninstall, install the same program again, so that it will install on top of what is already there and refresh the files. Then you should b able to uninstall it since all the files will b replaces & or will b new. B.T.W. Don't do what Jarrett told you. Its not the correct way to uninstall a program and will leave a lot of orphan / extra files on your computer. Programs do not only install to the program… [cont.]
