What colour shoes with a black semiformal dress - it has a small section of laced cream material near neckline?

A. if you're wearing a black dress then you could make it look very elegant by wearng gold jewellery and then accentuate that by wearing gold shoes...black and gold look great together... Another thing you could do is to match it up with silver chunky jewellery and then black and silver shoes... If you wear another colour e.g. purple then black shoes will look fine..and same goes for the red...red shoes on a red dress will look too predictable! hope i helped..go for the black and gold...it looks gorgeous...just make sure the gold isnt too flashy...should be matte gold

A. Depends...these days thoughts on that is NO necklace..hair up and long earrings. That kind of dress is meant for those with a small or flat bustline, if you have a fuller bustline then wear an 18 inch length necklace...simple one though. NO chokers ever with a halter ...the chain must fall in a v as the neckline does...again though, no necklace and hair up is best.

Good luck.. i was in the same boat as you... every place i found a dress i liked IF it only had a sweatheart neckline.. and every place said No and that they had a contract with the bridal company not to alter their dresses except the necessity..length, waiste.. normal alterations pretty much.. you'd have to go to a seperate person who does alterations on their own, good luck they get pretty expensive especially if you have any beading at all. My dress has a sweatheart neck line and is everything i wanted in a dress.. the designer is venus... www.venusbridal.com they have quite a few. You'll find a perfect one. keep looking. Where can I buy a black strapless bra, in Australia, that can be worn with a low cut neckline?
Q. My dress crosses over at the front and will be held together with Hollywood tape. When I bought the dress I was wearing a bra that only has a thin piece holding it together at the front and that was fine. Now I have noticed by strapless bras all have a large piece holding it together at the front and can be seen with that dress on. I can't return the dress but I really need a bra to wear with it. Not wearing a bra is not an option.
