U-Haul has some and there are others, with or without associated truck rental. Essentially you rent a space to store personal effects, furniture, etc., from about 4 x 4 feet up to the size of a garage, and have access during working hours, rarely 24-7. Q. I have my home items in storage for at least 4-6 years. I went back to get something out of storage. My furniture has mold on it and some other things have mold growing on it. Well, what maintenance were they supposed to be doing on your furniture? If they were supposed to be DOING something, like weekly polishing, you can sue for failure to perform. If they were only renting you the SPACE, then, well, they did that. You can STILL sue them, but you're not going to win. You stuck the furniture in there for six years . . .
