A. My guess is that you should be able to wait at the international airport for your next flight since at many international airports they are open 24 hours. Domestic airports are not always open 24 hours so I would find out what time the domestic airport opens.

Can I stay at the airport overnight?
Q. I will take the flight at 6am at Denver international airport. The bus from my town will arrive at the airport on the previous night of the flight, because it is the last bus which will be able to arrive earlier than my flight check-in. So, I will need to stay at Denver international airport over night. Can I check-in on the previous night? Is it possible to pass the security on the previous night and stay at a concourse untill my flight? Or, is the airport safe to stay overnight at a cafe or somewhere in the terminal? Thank you

Is there a cheaper option than economy parking at Philadelphia International Aiport?
Q. Parking is $11/ day in the economy lot. I will be gone 5 days. I'm willing to take a train or bus from a station where I can park overnight. A. A cab ride from center city to the airport is $20 each way. If you have a car and can't leave it at home, check out the lots on Essington Ave like Kinney or Sun Park. You can get coupons on their sites and sometimes in the phone book. You park your car at the lot, a little bus picks you up and takes you to the airport. You call them when you are ready to be picked up and they come and get you. I've done it and it's handy. Can't remember the cost but it's the least expensive.

How punctual is the Austrian international train system (OEBB)?
Q. I have a ticket from Linz (Austria) to Strasbourg (France) on an overnight train that arrives at 6:43am. I would like to take another train straight to Paris from Strasbourg, but the next one leaves at 7:15am. Does anyone know how punctual Austrian trains are? Should I buy the 7:15am ticket? A. Half an hour will be enough for a normal change on Strasbourg, you will even have time to get something to eat in normal circumstances. If you miss your connecting train because of a delay, the train company will give you a place on the next train, (but maybe you need to pay the difference.) The Austrian railways are rather punctual, but there can always be unforeseen circumstances, the rail companies know that and allow you to change your plans if you run into one.

International Layovers?
Q. I'm scheduling my first international flight. I'm traveling from Delhi, India to Phuket, Thailand. I'd prefer a direct flight to Thailand, but it looks like my options are limited so I may have to go with a layover in another country, and it could even be overnight. How do international layovers work? Do I need any documentation other than my passport? Can I leave the airport to see the city or check into a hotel overnight? Any info or tips would be helpful. A. The facilities depends on what country. Singapore is set up to process a lot of international layovers. There is a hotel in the terminal. At other airports, you may have to sleep in the transit lounge. If you want to make a stop-over and do sightseeing, then you go through immigration and customs and everything and it's a whole different matter.

A. Flight suggestions: Join the frequent flier program for the airline you will use. Joining is free and you can do it online. Call the airline before your flight date if you want to request a seat. Some airlines don t do advance seat selection and others charge a fee. The reservations agent will tell you if there are restrictions. Go to www.seatguru.com for info on seating arrangements in airlines. Try to sit in a window or aisle seat - NOT in a middle seat. A. As long as you hold a passport from a visa waiver country (here is the list): Then you can enter without problems/no need for a visa. I suggest you DO NOT/DO NOT go all the way out to Tokyo, the airport is some distance from Tokyo. Most people who are on a short layover go to nearby Narita City, there's some nice small shopping and a nice temple there that many tourists visit. Its a lot better then hanging around in the airport. If your airline hasn't arranged accommodation for you, there are tons of hotels in Narita area. Remember to get back to the airport around 8-9am, because there are a ton of security checks, and you have to go through exit immigration.

A. First class mail is the least expensive. All international mail is by air these days, so I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "international airmail." DHL is a private courier service, like UPS or Fed Ex. It is the most expensive, but, of the choices you've given, it's also the fastest.

I know there are no showers in the airport that the public can use - the only place they would be is one of the airline executive clubs...so maybe check with the airline if you belong to one of the clubs. Although not a great clean up - the bathrooms at MCO are very nice and clean. It seems like each time I travel through there, others are cleaning up in the bathroom. Have a good trip.

Q. I received a check ($3850) and letter in the mail 4 days ago stating that I had won the lottery. I called the number and the guy told me to place the check in my bank account so I did and after that the money cleared. Now he wants me to take the money to a certain location and give it to someone for clearance fees for my $225,000 check that I will receive in the mail by overnight 24 hour delivery. Should I take him this money or should I just keep it and let bygons be bygons? Can a international driver's license be a substitute for a passport?
Q. Mistakenly, I've mad plans to take a trip to Vancouver, BC, Canada for New Years, forgetting I do not have a passport. I did some research and, although I could get a passport overnight-ed for a ridiculous amount of money, I've been told there are alternatives. A friend of mine said she heard talk about their being some sort of international driver's license you could use in place of a passport as long as you also have your birth certificate, or some other documents. Is this true? Althogh I reside in Georgia, I am going back home to Washington state for Christmas in less than two weeks. Does anyone know of some sort of 'passport substitute'?

How long does First Class International Shipping REALLY take to ship from Chicago, IL to Anaheim, CA?
